Unique Christmas Party Venues

I’ve been asked about a gazillion times now about where to book their office parties.

There’s the usual places and the usual hotels or venues but we at DiscoverPH figured that maybe this year, it’ll be awesome if you had a different kind of a party venue – something unique.

Here are our 5 suggestions. Oh, and there’s a listing of 6 other venues just for our members.

1) ONE CAFE EVENTS PLACE

one cafeLocated at the 6th floor of One corporate Center in Julia Vargas in Ortigas, One Cafe Events place offers more than just a bare space for parties. They also have buffet packages and add ons plus their function rooms are already equipped with a basic PA/sound system so you don’t have to worry about renting any.

You can have the entire company in here for your annual Christmas party! Their function rooms can accommodate up to 400 people at one time! But if you want to have just your department or team, they also have smaller function rooms that can take in 50 people or less.

For more information on their party packages and other details, please call up Jenny Chua at 09228072777 or at 3411327.

2) STUDIO Z

studio zThere are a lot of reasons why people book Studio Z for their parties or events. First off is the low rates – their booking costs depend on what you need, therefore making it customizable to fit your budget or specifications. If you need the entire shebang, they’ll throw in everything, including the cleaning crew, for a package cost. If you have budget constraints, they can also just charge you for the venue rental while you have people “sponsor” the other stuff like the DJ booth or what have you.

The rooms are also customizable, so you can turn it into a warehouse rave or a 70′s Disco or any theme you have! With most venues, you’re stuck with the existing decor and usable floor area but not with Studio Z. Studio Z is located at the Ground Floor of the FBR Building, 317 Katipunan Rd., Loyola Hts., Quezon City. Call them up during office hours (9am – noon; 1pm – 7pm) at 4369368 or email them at studiomanila@gmail.com

3) MR. HARDINERO

If being inside a stuffy room with blinking lights and what have you is not your thing, you can suggest a different and unique party for Christmas! Why not have a Garden Party? Make it a double celebration and define it with botanical reds and greens! It’s like having Earth Day and Christmas all at the same time.

Mr. Hardinero actually started as a landscaping company, but now, they’re providing the public with a wonderful and quirky venue for all kinds of parties. Although they’re very popular with weddings, there’s no discrimination as to what you want to celebrate.

Mr. Hardinero is located at 363 Quezon Avenue, Quezon City. Call them up at 4130276 / 3486978 / 09228586842 or email them at mr.hardinero@yahoo.com for more information on their party packages.

4) REALSHIP YACHT PARTY

realship yachtHere’s a unique party venue for your Christmas party: Why not have it on a yacht? With everyone else doing theirs at either a hotel ballroom, a nightclub or a warehouse; you can have your Kris Kringle on a real yacht, cruising around Manila Bay.

For a mere P33,000, you and 44 other guests can party for 3 hours on a 70 foot yacht. If you want a more intimate party, then there’s a smaller boat (about 42 feet) that costs about P8,500 per hour. All prices stated do not include the 10% service charge. That doesn’t include the caterer and sound system though but they have awesome in-house packages that you can avail of. Saves you the hassle of having to coordinate three different suppliers to the yacht.

For more information, contact Realship Corporation at 8325424 / 9940429 or email them at info@realshipcorp.com. Realship is located at the CCP Complex, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City.

5) FILIPINAS HERITAGE LIBRARY

filipinas heritageDon’t be deceived, it’s not what you think. Yes, it’s a library but you don’t actually have it there. (I know, it ruined by Breakfast Club fantasies).

The Filipinas Heritage Library opens its courtyards and their reading room to the public to use as a venue for their parties. It’s a wonderful venue for parties if you would also like to infuse some history and culture. The Filipinas Heritage Library is very convenient as well – located in the heart of the Makati commercial and business district,  it’s easily accessible by jeeps and taxis. For those who have cars and fear/loathe Makati parking, no worries because a parking lot is just right next to it.

For party packages and reservations, contact Mary Grace Santos at 8921801 local 20 or 7593371. The Filipinas Heritage Library is on Makati Avenue, next to The Manila Peninsula.

For our members, here are some more venues that you might want to check out. I’ve indicated the venue rental cost but if you talk to them now, they can give you discounts or freebies.
