Philippine Visa Information

I’m very proud of my country and as much as possible, I’d like the world to see that we’re not just about beaches or poverty and corruption. The Philippines has wonderful places that we have already featured here.

I’ve gotten some emails and questions about visa information. There are a lot of countries that can visit the Philippines without a visa and stay within a period of time. The common length of time is 21 days for most citizens and this is only if you have a valid passport that is still valid within 6 months after your departure date and if you have a valid ticket to another point of destination outside the Philippines. However, there are certain limitations set to the citizens of certain countries. For example, those who are owners of the following passports : Hong Kong Special Administrative (SAR), British National Overseas, Portuguese Passports issued in Macao, Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) can only stay for a maximum of seven (7) days.

Citizens of or owners of passports issued by Brazil and Israel are allowed to stay in the country for a maximum of 59 days.
