If you’re visiting a different place or a different country, it is imperative that you have emergency numbers on hand. There’s nothing more frustrating and depressing than being in an emergency situation and you have absolutely no idea what to do or who to call. The feeling of helplessness is worse than being in a bad situation.

Here in the Philippines, there are several numbers that you can contact, depending on what type of emergency you have. Here are some of the most important emergency numbers in the country. Make a list and stick it on your fridge or keep a copy of it in your wallet or mobile phone. Being prepared is better than being sorry.
