Secret Garden – Baguio City

Admittedly, a lot has changed in Baguio. The smell of pines are faint now and the air though still chilly is slowly getting polluted with the smell of diesel fumes. There are more people in Baguio now – the pavements are getting smaller and smaller and the roads are getting filled with more and more vehicles.

Don’t get too depressed though. There are still places in Baguio that are beautiful and delightful, if you have the time to explore and just wander around. When we went there last year, we had a great time at the 50′s Diner. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they have a second branch now! It’s still cozy and small and thank the Benguet Gods that the food is still excellent.
