Quick Delivery – A review
We have posted about these delivery services on the website a few months back. We finally had an opportunity to try them out last week when we have too much work to do but were hankering for some nice food that wasn’t drenched in oil and transfat. Dave was craving for something Spanish (from his favorite restaurant, Barcino’s) and I wanted Chinese food. There was no way we were going to get both at the same time and going to the individual restaurants would mean lost productivity because that meant we had to travel and wait on the food without being able to work. The best solution? Quickdelivery.ph [divider_flat]
Our favorite restaurant when in Makati will always be Barcino. Unfortunately, they don’t deliver and luckily, QuickDelivery.ph does it for them. We ordered our regular meal from them and I do have to wonder if they have like a nuclear silo in that motorcycle of theirs because the food was still hot. Granted, the potato bombs…well, exploded, but it was really no biggie. What mattered was it was delivered, it was warm and it was what I wanted.
But it’s not like everyone will like something from the same restaurant. That’s the beauty of Quickdelivery.ph! They’ll take your orders from all the different restaurant partners that they have and they’ll deliver it to your location. Convenient! It’s also computed within one bill so you don’t have to prepare several bills to pay different establishments.[divider_flat]

We also like the fact that you can also gauge the kind of customer service each restaurant would have on take aways and delivery . Barcino’s was straightforward and simple. You want food? Here it is. It’s delicious, warm and done according to your specifications. Then there’s the Superbowl of China. Some may think that adding these labels and smiley faces are unprofessional but I personally like it. It shows that someone took the extra effort and time to ensure that I know what I’m eating and that they’re happy that they got my order. Service with a smile in a tangible form.
You can order from a whole plethora of restaurants in the metro and QuickDelivery.ph will take your order and deliver to you. You can order by phone by simply calling 2121212 or by SMS, just text the word “ORDER” and send it to 09182121212 and an agent will give you a call back. You can also order online (My preferred choice) via their website at quickdelivery.ph.

I tried Quick Delivery twice and was really disappointed. The first time I ordered food from bon chon, and it took Quick Delivery 2 hours to deliver the food. the food was still warm but was really soggy already. The second time I tried to order again, and I was again told that it will take 90 minutes to deliver the food. Then they called me back after 30 minutes and said they don’t know where my place is and was asking for directions. I asked why it took them 30 minutes before asking for directions, and that they had delivered me food already once. I finally decided to cancel my order because they said it would still take them 90 minutes to deliver my food. I would have been to Makati, eaten and was on my way home already by the time they get my food delivered. the concept is ok but they really need to fix their delivery system, or maybe they should just change their name to Slow Delivery.
