Muruve by Pino

I’ve never been a beer drinker. There’s something about the bitter aftertaste of beer that turns me off. I might, however change my mind after hearing about flavored beer from Muruve by Pino.

Muruve by Pino is located at the hodge podge of hot spots at the Ortigas Home Depot in Pasig City. It’s a collaboration between Muruve Wine bar and Pino Restaurant (in Quezon City) What the establishment wants to achieve is the combination of good food with good wine.

Now, I love wine. Wine for me has so much character and history. The process of making wine is very romantic – things that I can’t seem to find in beer. Muruve is making a difference in showing people how to appreciate beer. How? By putting flavors in it.

Have a different kind of beer experience by tasting some of Muruve’s exclusive flavored beer. Your beers can have a hint of watermelon, apple or for those looking for a local flavor – calamasi. (No, sorry, aratilis is not one of the flavors, nor is macopa) Each glass would set you back for about Php 95. Another reason why you should give this a try is that these beers are locally made. Why buy imported beers when you can get these babies and help the local economy too!

Muruve by Pino is located at the Ortigas Home Depot, Julia Vargas Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig.  For inquiries and reservations, call them at 706-4617. Operating hours are from 5PM to midnight everyday.
