Lolo’s music bar and restaurant is conveniently located at the heart of Naga city’s commercial district, right next to its most opulent hotel – the Avenue. If you’re looking for a place that has a great ambiance but serves local cuisine, Lolo’s Music Bar and Restaurant is the place to go to.

Honestly, it was a refreshing surprise. They offered local Bicolano fare (very well presented, by the way) and the atmosphere was very nice and luxurious. The staff was a bit standoffish which bothered me and thus changing my mood. I was tired and was desperate for food and drinks and I didn’t need snotty staff. That was the first negative point. The second area for improvement was the sound system. The band was good – especially the gay singer. He was exceptionally talented. However, the music was too loud for a very small area. It destroyed the very chillax (supposed) ambiance.

Now, the good stuff: We LOVED the food. It was absolutely amazing! Delicious and authentic, it filled our tummies and also didn’t damage our wallets. Although they had a P200 per head consumable fee, it was well worth it. We loved the pork sinigang sa buco, pork sisig and the Bicol express. They’re the must try dishes when you go to Lolo’s.
