Continuing our love for a good bargain, here are 5 more establishments you might want to check out for their food and drink promos.

1. LE BISTRO VERT – Some people might say that the place is a bit pricey than that of the other organic restaurants but I think you’re doing a great service to our local farmers when you dine at Le Bistro Vert.

The restaurant helps promote sustainable food by using only organically grown local ingredients from small farmers and communities. This is literally “from farm to plate”. You’ll love it’s very classy interior and the very relaxed vibe the place exudes.

Check out their Happy Hour special – From Monday to Friday at 5PM – 8PM, their cocktails are 2 for 1! This includes local beers, red and white wine, margaritas and martinis.

2. BRAZIL, BRAZIL CHURRASCARIA – Churrascaria is a Brazilian or Portuguese steakhouse. It’s primarily a buffet and is composed of different kinds of meat but mostly is beef and pork. The meat is grilled and is put on skewers that the waiters carry with them, along with a very sharp carving knife and they just slice it right on your plate. Just thinking about it is making me have the meat sweats.

For P650 a person, you get to eat as much meat as your body can handle. It can be grilled pork, beef, sausages or chicken. Anything that you can think of grilling is there, with the exception of fish. Just keep the yo-yo at green and the waiters will happily oblige your carnivorous cravings.

3. APLAYA – A favorite haunt of the Call center crowd, they don’t just offer drinks, beer and pica-pica. They are now offering breakfast! And an Eat all you can promo too!

For P99+ (P150 if you order it with iced tea) you can chose yummy breakfast items from their buffet. The buffet starts at 3AM and ends at 10AM.

4. KING ONE ROTARY HOT POT – I love hot pot or shabu-shabu. There’s a certain thrill to having to cook your own meal (or at least have some semblance of) I’ve tried some other hot pot restaurants before and it’s just a little disappointing – either the ingredients are not so fresh or there weren’t much choices on the base (soup)

With King One, you can be sure that the ingredients are fresh (sometimes even alive when served – don’t worry, they’re the shells not anything else) Plus you don’t need to flag down a waiter to refill your glass or your plate. The rotary belt makes it possible for your choice of ingredients to be delivered right at your table.

5. PEN-PEN’S RESTAURANT - Owned by actor Pen Medina, PenPen’s is more than a restaurant. It’s also a gallery and mini theater. PenPen’s Pasta all you can Tuesdays have gotten a cult following.

Go ahead and try all of their 7 sauces! Most of the hardcore pasta lovers prefer the aligue, tinapa and the Basil oil and cheese. If you’re a little bit daring, try their vegetarian (pinoy style) sauce. If you’re not sure, then you can stick to their carbonara, meatballs and bolognese.
