Wensha Spa – CCP Complex
I would probably classify Wensha as the “fastfood” of the spas we have here in Metro Manila. It is cheap, (well, relatively) it’s accessible and it is open 24 hours a day, thus making it a favorite among the yuppies and office workers.
The main come hither of Wensha spa is their eat all you can buffet and shabu-shabu. For only 780 pesos, you get to enjoy their buffet (they have different cuisines every day but the best seller is the shabu-shabu.), their facilities and a massage for an hour. I’m not a fan of their other buffets but I do like their shabu-shabu so I would recommend that you go during those days.
They have separate wet floor areas for men and women, however the facilities are the same. You can steam up at their sauna, take a shower, have a body scrub (and I do mean scrub! I was half thinking that they were using Scotch Brite scouring pads on me. But hey, they did get to exfoliate my skin, albeit raw) and take a dip in their jacuzzi while watching local TV shows on their big screen TV.
Their massage rooms are categorized into singles, doubles and barkada – with three or four cots side by side, just in case you have that need to be with your friends every single time.

Wensha is located at the CCP grounds, in front of the World Trade Center on Buendia. Call them up at 8320517 for reservations and they’re open 24 hours day, 7 days a week (except on specified holidays)
