Birdwatch Philippines
Just when you thought there wouldn’t be any kind of wild life existing in Manila, you’d be pleasantly surprised by the sheer number of wild birds seen here in the Metro.
If you’re thinking of something different to do this weekend (or any weekend for that matter), try something as calming and as soothing as watching birds. Birdwatch Philippines aims to promote birdwatching as a hobby and it also aims to protect and preserve Philippine flora and fauna.
The article is continued below this advertisement.
Established in 2003 as an organization for bird enthusiasts, Birdwatch Philippines has long evolved from a small group into an active organization that aims to promote and protect Philippine birds and their environment. Forgive the pun, but it’s really quite like hitting two birds with one stone – in this case though, don’t take it too literally.
Head on to Davao this September 24 – 25 to join their very first Asian Bird Fair. Be at the Waterfront Insular Hotel in Davao at 9Am and be part of the activities. BirdwatchPH will have pocket discussions on the state of affairs for our feathered friends and their natural habitat. Take part in making sure that our future generations will still have some birds to watch.
For more information, head on over to their website here. They also have information there on how to be a member and how to join the birdwatching activities/events.

Hey, I just hopped over to your site via StumbleUpon. Not something I would normally read, but I liked your thoughts none the less. Thanks for making something worth reading.
for a few of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it?
Hey there Melvin!
We use WP but I also use blogspot. My partner is partial to WP as it’s easier to manipulate and use. Go give it a try. Go to http://www.smartmediapro.com to learn more. :)

I am impressed with this blog. Surprisingly I have toyed with the idea of trying to start one similar to this as well, however I am not computer gifted on how to do it. What is this “WordPress” thing? Is it hard to learn? Need I be knowledgable in computers to create a blog? I am trying to create a blog for my esllanguage website. Can the functions be added seamlessly into an existing website?
Hey Hillary!
WordPress is very easy to use and you don’t have to be too technical to learn it. It’s very convenient and you can add a lot of plugins (extras) to it that other blogging platforms won’t be able to do.
